Caregiver Bags

Caregiver bags are basically "storytime in a bag!" These themed bags are geared towards any caregiver working with a child in preschool through first grade. Each bag is built around a specific theme that will introduce important concepts of early childhood learning. View in Catalog

Special Collections

Not only does the library offer Board books, Easy Fiction, Juvenile Fiction and Children's non-fiction, we also provide special collections. These include SC Award winners, Caldecott Award winners, Newberry Award winners and more. Many books in Braille are available. Our collection also includes kits that contain a book and CD. A selection of eBooks are available that may be downloaded from the library’s website. We also have a collection of educational board games that may be checked out.

Upcomig Children's Events

Puppet Play
Monday, October 20

Children ages 6 and up are invited to join us at 3:30pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley for Puppet Play! We’ll share stories, poems, songs, and jokes that can be used to bring our puppets to life. We have props, a puppet theater, and other materials; all you need to bring is your imagination!

Monsters Inc. Double Feature
Monday, October 27

The fun starts at 4pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley. We will create monstrous crafts before the movies start and during intermission. The Monsters Inc. movie will be shown at 4:15pm and Monsters University will be at 6:15pm. Costumes are welcome!

Fall Festival
Friday, October 31

Join us at 3:30pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley for our Fall Festival! There will be games, activities, photo booths, storytimes, and a costume contest. We encourage you to dress up as your favorite book character, but all costumes are welcome.
