Caregiver Bags

Caregiver bags are basically "storytime in a bag!" These themed bags are geared towards any caregiver working with a child in preschool through first grade. Each bag is built around a specific theme that will introduce important concepts of early childhood learning. View in Catalog

Special Collections

Not only does the library offer Board books, Easy Fiction, Juvenile Fiction and Children's non-fiction, we also provide special collections. These include SC Award winners, Caldecott Award winners, Newberry Award winners and more. Many books in Braille are available. Our collection also includes kits that contain a book and CD. A selection of eBooks are available that may be downloaded from the library’s website. We also have a collection of educational board games that may be checked out.

Monday, April 14
Storytime on the Spectrum

Join us at 6:30pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley for our monthly, evening storytime geared towards children with special needs and their families. Our theme will be "Hats Off to April" and will feature silly hat stories and a hat decorating craft.

Tuesday, April 15
Preschool Storytime

Come join us for story time at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley at 10:30am! We will have books, songs, and flannel board stories for kids and caregivers.

Tuesday, April 22
Recycled Craft Program

Ages 5 and up are invited to create magnificent works of art from "junk" at 3:30pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley. We'll provide the materials, as well as take home information on our conty's recycling program and ideas about what to do about your "junk" at home.

Wednesday, April 23
World Book Night

Starting at 3pm at the Sarlin Branch in Liberty, we will be giving away 20 copies of the book, Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. To learn more about World Book Night, visit www.worldbooknight.org

Tuesday, April 29
Storybook Ball

Join us at 6:30pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley for a storybook ball! Kids 12 and under are invited to dreww up at their favorite book character and enjoy great stories, groovy music, and giveaways galore! Please bring your grown up and encourage them to dress up too.
