Library Resources

Youth Services Department includes material in a variety of formats. Our collection was developed especially for the interests and needs of children and the grown-ups who work for them. There are two main areas; Juvenile Books (for our elementary students) and our Easy Book collection (aimed at pre school children). These books are located in the Children's Room. Please remember, librarians are here to help you. If you do not see an item you need in the catalog or on the shelves, a librarian can place it on hold for you or even request that the book be ordered.
Fiction
Our fiction collection includes award books, picture books, board books, beginning to read books and chapter books. We also have a special section of oversized books which are ideal for sharing with groups of children.

Non-Fiction
Our non-fiction collection consists of materials to meet the recreational, informational and educational needs of children. Informational books are available in a wide range of reading levels and subject areas. Popular non-fiction topics include dinosaurs, pets, and how-to-draw books.

Reference
Our reference collection includes general encyclopedias as well as specialized encyclopedias in the areas of science, history and geography.

Caregiver Bags
