Microsoft IT Academy

Are you looking to develop or enhance your technology skills? Look no further! The Pickens County Library System now offeres access to Microsoft IT Academy, a digital learning curriculum offering virtual training for most of Microsoft's software offerings including Microsoft Office.

Knit Pickens

If you like to knit, crochet, or do needlepoint, or if you have always wanted to learn, join in on Knit Pickens. This group meets regularly at 10:30am on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Please join us on Saturday, May 9th and on Saturday, May 23rd at the Village Branch in Pickens.

Americorps Can Help!

An Americorps Volunteer can help with IDAs, as well as job hunting, resumes, and government benefits. All help is free and confidential. A volunteer will be at the Central-Clemson Regional Branch Sun 2:30-5:30pm.

Yack and Yarn

Do you like to quilt, crochet, knit, needlepoint, or do some other kind of needlecraft? If you are an expert, or need help getting started, join us at the Sarlin Branch Library in Liberty. We meet regularly on the first and third Saturday of each month at 10am. Join us next on Saturday, May 2nd AND Saturday, May 16th . Participation is free and open to all.

Yarn wrapped Letters

All teens are invited to turn cereal boxes into yarn wrapped letters on Tuesday, April 28th at 4:30pm at the Central-Clemson Regional Branch Library.

Free Essential Oils Workshops

Rachel Culver will present information on the history of essential oils, how they are harvested, and their basic usage. Ask questions and familiarize yourself with aromatherapy, diffusion, topical application, and how oils can be used as dietary supplements. Workshops will take place Sunday, May 3 from 4-5pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley,Saturday, May 9 from 10-11am at the Sarlin Branch in Liberty,Saturday, May 9 from 2-3pm at the Village Branch Library in Pickens and Saturday, May 16 from 2-3pm at the Central-Clemson Regional Branch.

Cookbook Club

Do you like to cook? Do you like to eat? Join the Club! The Cookbook Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm at the Village Branch Library in Pickens. Just stop by the front desk at the Village Branch and pick a recipe from this month’s featured cookbook. Make the recipe and bring it to share on Tuesday, May 12th at 12:30pm.
