Eye-Bombing Contest

Eye-bombing is the act of attaching googly eyes to inanimate objects to create a face. To celebrate April Fool's Day, you're invited to find and photograph the coolest example of eye-bombing you can find. Email up to 3 entries before April 30 with your name, age, and phone # to heathw@pickens.lib.sc.us.

Book in a Jar

Do you like guessing games? Do you like books? During the month of April, teens are invited to guess which books is inside the jar at the circulation desk at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley. Correct guesses will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to a surprise restaurant in Easley.

Teen Advisory Board

What is it? A group of teens who meet once a month to discuss what they're reading, what they'd like to see at the library, or just hang out.

Who can join? Any teen, aged 13-18, currently enrolled in middle or high school.

What are the benefits? Members get to help create library programming specifically for teens, earn volunteer hours, meet other teens who love to read, and suggest new titles that the library should carry.

Crafternoons

The first Thursday of each month at 4:00pm, make a unique craft project at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.

Teen Writer's Group

Join us on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm in the study rooms of the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.
